Feast on the Farm Attracts 150 Guests to Snipes Farm
(October 1, 2021) Snipes Farm and Education Center (SFEC) hosted the 4th Annual Feast on the Farm on Friday, October 1, drive-in style! The guests had a gourmet dinner in the pasture, and took a tour to learn how the farm fights food insecurity and educates the public about farming in harmony with the Earth. Guests participated in a Flash-Your-Lights fundraiser hosted by SFEC Board Chair, Lori Hoppmann, and Jonathan Snipes, Executive Director. They enjoyed a beautiful Fall evening outdoors with opportunity for socializing with other supporters of the farm. A screening of the movie, Kiss the Ground, inspired all with a message of restoring the soil through regenerative farming. The event successfully raised thousands of dollars for the nonprofit programs of SFEC.
