Snipes Farm Plant Invasion

A 4th Saturday Nature Walk

Date/Time: Saturday, May 25 10:00am - 11:30am

Our naturalist, Joel Collamer, will take us on an interpretive nature walk focusing on invasive, non-native plants, the when and how they arrived here, the many challenges they pose to our ecosystem, and actions that Snipes Farm is taking to limit their proliferation and improve support for native plants and animals.  Don’t be surprised if Joel puts on his forager hat from time to time to talk about the role of these plants as a food or remedy.

$10 per person. This walk is appropriate for ages 12 and up.  Advance registration is required. See below.

This event is outdoors. Please dress for the weather. Wear footwear suitable for walking on the farm (closed toe footwear, no sandals) . Take necessary precautions for tick exposure.
