Little Sprouts in Fall
Fall is such a beautiful season on the farm! Some animals are preparing for hibernation, while others stock up and build winter homes. The farmers are harvesting fall vegetables and preparing for winter’s long nap. There are so many exciting things happening in our little slice of heaven at Snipes Farm and Education Center. We hope you will join us for our 4th Fall season!
Little Sprouts fosters a love of nature in young children as they explore and make discoveries through each season on the farm. Children and their grownups engage in activities to deepen awareness and appreciation of stewardship and farm life. Our classes are set up with multiple activities designed for child led learning. We love to use our little hands to do big things! The outdoor classroom includes: organic active play space, mud kitchen, creative space, kitchen and farmers market dramatic play, reading nook, woods, fields, gardens and a variety of farm animals. Through the program children have the opportunity to deepen skills and gain a better understanding of:
- Social-emotional well-being
- STEM Literacy Fine and Gross Motor Skills
- Creativity
- Confidence and Self Awareness
