“Just like a bee needs a flower, a child needs nature”
-Brandi Rondinelli
The Camp Leadership Program (CLP) combines service, leadership development, skill building, adventure and fun!
Open only to ages 13-15, the program is hands-on with 80-acres on a certified organic farm and woods, creeks, fields and gardens to explore. Time with animals is a part of every day farm life.

Community Service
Citizen science and camp service projects give CLP’s special learning opportunities and responsibilities.
Our CLPs take on a variety of projects to support the camp community and the farm’s hunger relief efforts. Paired up with our youngest campers, CLPs guide the Rutabagas in their first weeks at camp. CLPs learn about food first hand through gardening and cooking and projects with farmers.
Personal Challenge
Team building brings everyone in the cohort together as we explore the highs and lows of working with others.
Our adventure courses allow students to challenge themselves and develop their individual strengths.

Specialists
Professional specialists lead advanced classes in Art, Archery, Nature, and Cooking. Weekly special guests offer unique performances or themed activities.
The afternoon block is lead by our camp director or the director of farming, as students learn more about career readiness.
What people are saying
“We thought this could finally be a ‘one of a kind’ summer experience for our son. To our delight it was and much, much more. He couldn’t wait to go every day. He loved being able to interact with the farm animals every day. He came home dirty and tired and in love with the farm!!”
Tom S.
“We chose Farm Camp because our daughter had such a great experience the previous summer. She loved being able to help take care of all of the animals; she liked to arrive at camp early just to be able to spend extra time visiting the rabbits and chickens! She was always happy when she came home from Farm Camp and was always excited to tell us about her day. She really enjoyed picking fruit and cooking treats with fresh foods from the farm.”
Mike A.
“Farm Camp far exceeded our expectations. Our children are excited to go, and disappointed when it’s over. Farm Camp is a collection of unique activities that you won’t find at other summer camps. As a parent I feel that I have provided my children with an experience, not a babysitter.”
Liz S.
