The Children’s Garden
The Children’s Garden is one of the most iconic parts of Snipes Farm.
Originally a kitchen garden from the Victorian Era, this site is now expertly cared for by the Bucks County Master Gardeners.
Throughout the year, students visit the garden nearly every day and participate in plantings and harvesting fresh produce and herbs.
Featured in our Seed to Snack field trip, local students plant seeds in the spring and sample produce in the fall. The herbs are included in our Nutrition lessons and Farm-to-Table cooking experiences.

Become a Master Gardener
Master Gardener volunteers support Penn State Extension’s educational programs in consumer horticulture.
They develop their horticultural expertise through participation in educational training classes conducted by Penn State University faculty and Extension staff.
Candidates must be 18 years old or older.
